Mend Chubb 8012 Open Moves Move

taking off a chubb8012 window lock?

I have a key to open the lock but when turning it it only moves a centimetre which is mot enough to move the cockspur handle to open the window.

Therefore I would like to remove the whole lock from the window. Any advice greatfully received. Thank you
