Mend Baxi Genesis 80 Boiler Heating Hot Water

DHW pressure dropping after tap turned on?

Boiler: Baxi Genesis 80.
About 15-45 seconds after the hot tap is turned on the flow will slow to a trickle and i need to open the tap more to restore the flow. I may need to repeat this again to keep the flow
Cold water and Heating OK.

What could be causing this?

the problem is caused by the washer in the tap expanding from the heat of the water, change the washer. some tap manufactures have replaced the the old style rubber washers with ceramic ones to overcome this problem. you are not alone with this problem about 70 % of the people i visit with combi's suffer exactly the same thing.

it could well be just the tap that is the problem (it happens on my bathtap) does it happen with all taps?
