Mend Whirlpool ADP7966 Dishwasher Works Stops

My Whirlpool ADP7966 dishwasher works for about 10 minutes, then stops?

My dishwasher is playing up. In mid cycle, the normal operating lights start flashing, then the machine stops. If I turn the control knob to the off position for a few seconds, then turn it back to the original position, it will start again, for a few minutes.
