Mend Vauxhall Corsa Problem Gear

vauxhall corsa gearbox?

my 53 plate vauxhall corsa 1000cc has developed a problem with the gear selector.You ghave to force the gearstick hard to the left in an attempt to engage second gear. any ideas please

31/1/08 Ive just got the same problem with an 02 corsa 1.0.
My main dealer has 20 linkage ass'y in stock at £103.99 inc vat and wants 80.00 to fit it. HA HA. The part is common to Tigra Meriva etc. Modified part also available on ebay at 36 + del but I havn't found the 15 option abve yet!

Problem is with selector, parts are £15, dealer garage fit one Hour. Just had same problem
