Mend Baumatic BTWM5 Machine Loud Noise Spinning

Baumatic BTWM5 washing machine - loud noise when spinning?

When I had a wash on the machine started making a very loud noise when spinning and then when I stopped it and opened the door there was a burning smell. I then tried washing a smaller load but again when it came to the spin mode the loud noise returned and so I stopped the machine. The filter is clear. Is this something that can b evicted or am I likely to need a new machine?
