How can I fix my Washing Machine?

My Hotpoint WF860 Super Silent Washing Machine is showing "test" when I switch it on. It will not go onto any programmes to wash. I have tried switching it on and off a few times, but it is still showing "test".What can I do?

To de- activate press and hold the start/cancel button until all the lights come on.

then press and hold the on/off and start/cancel buttons together until d-off appears
