Mend Vauxhall Vectra Engine White Smoke

how can i fix my vectra from losing power?

My 05 Vauxhall vectra loses power when driving randomly but when restarted drives fine, I have noticed a plumb of white smoke comes out when restarting it though, does anyone have any ideas what this could be?
