What do you think is wrong with my vectra (petrol)?
I HAVE A 1.8LS PETROL VECTRA W REG,I HAVE FOUND SOME OIL ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SPARK PLUGS WHEN I CLEAN THEM IT STARTS OK BUT BLOWS WHITE SMOKE FROM EXHUST.I HAVE TO DO THIS TO GET IT STARTED ALL THE TIME,I DONT KNOW IF ITS SOMETHING MAJOR WITH THE ENGINE OR I DID GET SOME FREE FUEL WHICH I THINK WAS IN AN OLD OIL CAN AND HAS CONTAMINATED MY TANK AND FUEL LINES.ANY ADVISE WOULD BE GREATFULL.

From your expaination, it would have to be a heck of a lot of oil in that can to oil your plugs on a regular basis, with that and the white smoke out of the exhaust it sounds like you head gasket is shot
