ford focus ??

can any 1 help i have a 1.8 w reg ford focus when driving after 10 minutes or so when stopping at roundabouts etc it trys to stall i.e revs drop right down engine light comes on switch off re start engine light gos out. a friend plug his fault code reader in no codes
