Focus died?

I was driving my Focus 1.8 tdci on an 04 plate and the glow plug light came on then the engine stopped. i turned ignition off then on again and it started running but only for about 100mtr or so, then the same thing happened again. i called out the AA but an indipendant recovery chap turned up. He plugged in his code reader & said the code for fuel pressure & code for faulty throttle came up. after fiddling for a while he said the tester could'nt go any further into the cause of the fault....??!!! He then told me to take it to my local garage where they will have a better diagnostic equipement...(Money well spent on a motoring breakdown service...NOT...!!!) any body got any idea on what the problem is....???????
