when i switch my recorder on it displays fail

Yep I've had at least 3 and only kept buying them because you can swap the hard drive over and get back what you have recorded. But not any more! The last one only lasted a 2 months! DON'T EVER BUY ANOTHER!
Had to interchange the parts from an older one to get my newer one to work at all after only a month! These were all bought new from ebay - maybe that's the problem?
