Mend Peugeot 106 Small Red Left

On peugeot 106 1998 what is small red led just below left of dash?

There's a small red led just to the left and below the dash what is it ??

Thanks already too late. Fitted new ignition barrel now led is on car won't start so how can I disable it any ideas ???

It is to do with the immobiliser. It should tell you that in the handbook. If the car is working ok then don't mess with it. You might muck it up.
