Mend Vauxhall Vivaro Fitted Light

Alternator ;ight?

Hi I have a 53 plate Vauxhall vivario and ive just had a new turbo fitted on this. \since doing this my alternator light comes on at 2500-3000rpm checked alternator and its charging why does light come on anyone know why thank you

Vauxhall Vauxhall Vivaro Vehicles, Vans Vauxhall Fitted Light

Have you checked that it's not overcharging?
what's the voltage reading at 2000-3000?
anything above say 14.5 v will make the light come on.
