won't play or eject?

When I switch on the ignition the cd player clicks as if it is trying to eject but nothing happens. the eject button does nothing and the cd will not play. the radio works fine.

look for a small pin hole around or under the cd tray, if there is one , stick a pin into it, and the tray door should pop open, thats what its for,
