cant get my replacement sekector switch to work?

I have a Belling 640SS and the old oven selector switch has broken. I have purchased an apparently compatible switch but it's not identical and can't work out how I should adapt the original connections? Any help gratefully received.

With out seeing the two switches and presuming you don't own a multimeter then I can't see how anyone can help. Suggest you get a service person to come out and fit it.
