Mend Electrolux Electric Cooker Working

Electrolux premier electric cooker hob replacement?

one of the plates is not working and I want to lift the cooker top to check the plate and replace it if nec. How do you open up the top of the cooker.

you need to take the side panels off to gain access to the 4 screws that hold the hob top on.side front edges have a metal strip down the sides.lever these off to expose side panel screws
