Remove filter on Bosch Exxcel 1600 washing machine?

Having difficulty removing the filter on a Bosch Exxcel 1600 washing machine. It turns 1/4 turn and can't move it any further

It will have debris jamming it.... you could try leaning the machine back against a wall and then moving the filter left and right repeatedly and the debris may fall back to allow the filter to be opened.... if not pump will have to dismantled.
