how to fix heater in my Maxus ldv van "07" plate?

Hi the heater in our Maxus ldv van isn't working. It blows cold air only. Is this an easy thing to fix myself? If so how do I do it? Will it need new fan heater ? 07557412261

A few things can cause a heater to blow cold ...The valve may not be working ,or the cylinder head gasket may have blown...To be honest I cant remember where the valve is located
