Mend Robinson Willey Firecharm 1996 Out Turn Up Flame

My LPG pilot goes out when I turn up the main flame ?

The pilot stays on for any length of time until I turn the fire up to the main flame and the fire will goes out on the lower heat once the Thermocouple cools. BUT the pilot stays on if the glass front is off (ie for cleaning the burner)!
Could I have a restriction to airflow in the balanced flue or could it be a thermocouple fault?
The fire is a Robinson Willey Firecharm 1996 manufacture
