Mend Suzuki DF115 Hot Temp Turn

overheating 2003 suzuki df115?

what is causing a 2003 suzuki df115 to run hot causing the temp light to come on? I turn the motor off then on and it runs fine. I notice this when there is floating grass on the water. I have replaced the water pump .
