Whirlpool Oven (AKZ451/IX/01) display not functioning?

Hi, I have a whirlpool oven (AKZ451/IX/01) that the oven display only shows parts of the temp/time. I am going to replace the display but can't figure out how to get the front silver panel off to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
