When you do fault finding on a system a good technique is to go to the half way point and see what's going on - with an electric window the half way point may be inside the door where the control wires come in - if the other windows work as expected then the door in question is very probably where the fault lies. Do you hear the winding gear operating when you select up or down? - if you don't then the drive motor might be defective or the wiring to it.
You say it has something to do with the wiring but you do not say why you think this to be the case - neither do you say the make and model of the car.
