Mend Hotpoint SDD610X Dishwasher Error Stopped

hotpoint slimline sdd610x dishwasher error code A3?

dishwasher has stopped draining. i have taken the pump out and tested it manually on the bench in good working order. checked drain pipe for blockages thats all clear. error code A3 says it could also be the thermistor is this possibly what it could be? where is it located? and how can i test it? thank you
