Mend Citroën Berlingo HDI Electrical Van Start

My Berlingo HDI 2003 has a electrical problem.... ?

The van wont start and dashboard light comes on and head lights turn on as well when I open driver door and the key isnt in van....Suddenly it began to do like this and it has not been making any probs before...very strange I think. Any one please help me figure this out. Thanks
