if there are no electrics at all,have a look at main fuse on battery lead[earth i think] down side of battery under seat.

looking at a tranny today with similar fault to yours,intermittent starting/electrical problems,have a look at your earth connections at the battery under the seat and also at your engine and starter,worth a look, good luck
