Mend Bosch B25L Hot Steam Steaming

Handle on Bosch b25l iron gets very very hot?

The handle on my steam generator iron has started getting very very hot and the iron is not steaming as well as it used to. I have de-scaled the iron as in the instruction booklet. Do you have a solution to the problem please?
