Mend Mira Sport Replaced Pipe Power

Mira Sport Shower keeps switching off ?

I have just replaced the shower pipe. When testing the showered afterwards the power is getting through okay but only stays on when I hold the switch. When I take my hand of the switch the water flow stop after a few seconds. Can you help me fix this?
