the power steering on my transit connect van is noisy on full/half lock ?
My connect vans power steering is noisy on full and half lock. Not losing any fluid at all can be noiser when engine cold I had steering pipe replaced a few year ago but at that time I was losing fluid but not this time. Can anyone shed any info on this for me,many thanks!
have a look at the belt tensioner,bad for going on these,just under the p.a.s pump,15mm spanner to let off belt tension,if the belt is travelling on the inner(engine side) part of the pulley then it may be needing replaced.You can get these from motor factors now.
