When at a standstill in traffic my car over heats but ok when moving also iv noticed that water gauge doesn't go straight to half way it at bottom then goes half way then drops then up to half way & repeats hope iv explained it right plz help thank you
You don't say if your cooling fan is cutting in when up to temperature,if not would check fuse. Also may be related to the coolant sensor where it picks up it's data
