Dumb lassie needs help with 2nd generation sony cd/radio?

Can anyone help plz, i have a ford c max with sony cd/radio generation2 in it, it also has a green phone button and a red phone button, am i able to connect my phone to the car, if so can someone help me, if not then can someone please tell me what the buttons are there for? thanks.xx
