Dentalux electric toothbrush?

My husband knocked my Dentalux electric toothbrush charger (that had the toothbrush attached as I was charging it) off the dressing table and now it won't charge as the part that pushes up from the charger into the body of the toothbrush has broken off. Can this be repaired?
