Mend Qualcast 35 Replaced Gear Running

Rear roller on qualcast 35?

I have just replaced the gear pinion but the roller will not run free when engine is not running ,runs perfect when engine is running

Problem solved, when the drive belt was fitted by persons unknown it was taken round post therefore not allowing roller to free wheel
