Is it FWD? Look at the top of the selector mechanism on top of the gearbox,in there are needle roller bearings which are bad for seizing,spray with WD40 where the shaft enters the g/box and work back and forth,apply oil/spray grease when it eases off,they normally free off eventually. If not then the selector mechanism is very expensive,you could try a scrappy for a used unit.
