Mend Ford Fiesta Light 2003

Battery warning light stays on?

I have a Ford Fiesta 2 door car year 2003.
The battery warning light remains on but the car is running as normal. There is a slight clicking noise but not sure where it is coming from.

drive belt/alternator issue.pop bonnet and check the drive belt isn't broken
