ford galaxy 2.3 2003?

engine warning light came on and the engine started to miss fire, the warning light stay on all the time and the engine is still miss firing, their is also a smell of gas coming from the rear and a smell of something burning from the engine bay

coil failure is a common one for misfiring on the 2.3 engine
check the fuse box next to the battery for burn connections on the alternator wire.another common issue!

would try and sort your misfire,remove and check plugs,if one is wet then good chance that is the cylinder giving problems,if in doubt renew plugs,leads and coil packs as necessary
