Mend Peugeot 206 Stay Upright Position

peugeot 206 style 2002 seats wont stay in upright position?

Hi my sons peugeot 206 both front seats we let someone in the back the other day pulled the lever to let the back of the seat fold down so they could get in now they wont stay up or they recline almost in a laying position PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP me mend this without it costing a fortune Thank you
