How can I repair slipping roller blind mechanism?

We have 'slipping' roller blinds, which need attention. Have opened the mechanisms, and can't find an obvious problem. Nothing is broken, and suspect the 'hooked coiled spring' is at fault. Can someone tell me how the spring fits.
