My server is NTL freedom.a few weeks ago for some reason when I click dial it takes five or six attempts before it connects.IT states the line is busy each time.anyone got an answer to this annoying problem?

I assume that you mean that your Interenet Service Provider (ISP) is NTL but you don't say if it is via a cable modem or your telephone line. If you put more information someone may be able to helkp you.
In either case the software and kit will have been supplied by NTL? Have you asked NTL?
