Hotpoint Aquarius Condenser Dryer - TDC32?

Hi, my dryer has recently started to make a loud grinding, squeeking noise when drying. The dryer is over 5 years old but everything else is working perfectly. Does anyone know what this could be? And would a woman living on her own be able to fix this? I don't really want the expensive of buying a new one but, I am concerned every time I use the dryer I am causing more damage. Thank you.
