Mend Sam4s SP-1000 Battery Still Working

sam4s sps-1000 new battery still not working?

so put in new battery pack into sam4s sps-1000 & have left it turned on for 48hrs. still not working
screen has a line of symbols across the middle
time & date at top but cant change
1 pos. & more symbols across bottom
wont work with any button even no sale
will not let me do anything in any setting even programming setting. what can I do to make it work

You must RAM clear it and re-program after replacing the battery since the memory has been scrambled from the low voltage of the old battery. Once you RAM clear it, it should hold the new data just fine.
