Mend indesit w113 Indesit Dial Programme

indesit w113 dial moves from programme to programme continuaslly?

the above named washing machine, when a wash is put on and the dial is pointed at the correct Programme the dial will continue to turn of its own accord. the dial will do full circle through all the programmes until it reaches the off mark where it will stay.
