Beko tumble dryer is shorting out all electrics every time I turn it on?

My tumble dryer is setting off the trip switch in my flat every time I turn it on this has happened for no apparent reason all of a sudden what could be causing this and how can I fix it.
Also my son poked a bra wire through the ventilation holes in the back of the drum where you put the clothes it was working perfectly well after this then all of a sudden broke what should I do I don't have the money to pay for repairs of buy a new one.
Please help me I don't know what I should do to fix it myself I is a beko DRCS68 C Energy Rated 6kg Condenser Tumble Dryer.
