What is worng with my car?

it sounds like the TPS (throttle position sensor) is faulty

Cars dont just cut out at junctions,they dont know it is a junction,if it cuts out when you slow down to a stop and arn't reving it, then the first thing to check is your Tickover Speed,any back street gagage will do that for you,tell them you think the tickover is to low and ask if they can help,relist your question if you get no joy.
