Mend Ford Escort GLX 16v Zetec

How can I trace and fix faults with a 98 Ford Escort?

I am having a few issues with my 98 ford escort GLX 16v Zetec. The rear wiper is not working. When I switch it on the Fog lights & Rear demister light's come on - but aren't actually working. The temperture gauge isn't working. And it seems to rev when changing gears - but only sometimes.

you will need to run a new earth lead for your rear wiper/fog light faults [the original earth is through hinges and over time makes poor connection ]. temp gauge could be faulty sender,-i take it that you have checked coolant level!
