Mend Bosch HNB131551B/02 Oven Light Cover

how to fix oven light cover on hnb131551b/02?

The cover for my oven light has cracked right through and fallen off. I am left with the screw part of the cover stuck in the lamp housing. I can move it about a cm each way but not much to grab hold of. Any ideas how to get it out? What is the tool like that people talk about ? Would that help me??

unfortunately if the glass has split leaving the threaded part only in the housing the removal tool is no use. What I would try is to tap the glass around with a screwdriver whilst wearing protective goggles but for health and safety reasons I cant recommend that you do it as pieces of glass will fly off. Other option is to replace the complete light fitting Cheers
