Mend Nissan 03 plate Almera Tino 1.8 Radio

nissan radio?

hi guys,got an 03 plate almera tino 1.8 petrol. the cd player works ok but radio just gets static,the ariel lead is connected to the back of the unit and the ariel in the roof,the display has preset stations but won't pick them up.radio is nissan oe,any ideas?
