problem with ford transit startermotors?

i have a 350 lwb 52 plate 2.5t duro transit and have replaced the starter twice in 2 and a half years both new ford ones only last over a year

Ford Ford 350 LWB 52 plate 2.5T Duro Transit Vehicles, Vans Problem Ford Transit

That will be a 2.4 not 2.5, it is a known fault that when the Dual mass flywheels start to break up they will eat starter motors. To replace with original parts from Ford you will be looking at around £1000!
