Mend Bosch Steam Iron Open

Bosch steam iron trigger sticks open?

We have a two year old Bosch iron/steam generator. Recently we find that if the steam trigger is held open for a few seconds, it sticks in the open position when released. The only way to release it is to quickly press and release it again. Any answers as to curing the problem please.
