rcd trips when oven switched on it is a moffat oven?

changed from a fused consumer unit to a rcd controlled one, oven trips as soon a power is turned on . oven is 10 years old

This mean that there is a short circuit somewhere or the breaker is grosly under rated.

Have an electrician inspect all cablings and repair the problem.
