how to fix optima alarm ?

The control panel battery is I likely cause of your problem.

Unfortunately you can't test it without the correct test equipment,so I'd say replace the battery.

Also it would of been nice to know the model of the alarm in question,also what keypad led's are lit and if lcd,what it says.

So mains off first before you open the panel,then replace the battery like for like observing correct polarity.

Also if you had said you are a proud owner of a scantronic or galaxy panel,then I'd be interested.

Ps if you acknowledge us by writing something,then I for one will try and help you sort it out :).

Better still : punch your code in then press reset X2.

If the bells go off you can't simply silence it by pressing reset,that would be to easy and it kind of defeats the object of knowing and using a valid user code.
